This project will provide my students with work spaces where their individual needs can be met. The tables and chairs will provide close proximity to my students in order to conduct guided reading groups, complete writers’ workshop activities, and meet all learners individual needs. Students will benefit from the use of the horseshoe table by having a collaborative place to meet and conduct lessons. A place to conduct smaller group learning opportunities will provide an intimate teacher/student experience to build rapport and meet learning objectives. Since the children in my class have various ability level the tables will also be a place where the push in support staff can work.
