Collaboration is a component that is needed to help ELLs learn the English Language. Most of my lessons are planned and created with cooperative, bilingual groups in mind. My goal is to facilitate my students' learning in ways that will prepare them for a successful future. Collaborative spaces throughout my classroom using flex-seating would engage, motivate, and facilitate essential conversations to enhance learning and create a cooperative learning environment. My students would truly appreciate having a classroom that supports the way they learn best, through collaboration. The flex seating will create much needed space to have conversations and mobility in order to be successful.
