These materials will enable me to create centers for my students that are engaging, skill-building and aligned with their learning standards. Creating this classroom with your help will prepare these young learners for their next year of school (Kindergarten) by giving them opportunities to learn how to work cooperatively with others, share, create, build and so much more! Social-emotional skills are paramount in the Early Learning community, and the books provided will help my students to engage in important conversations and lessons about how to treat others and how to deal with difficult feelings and experiences. The LEGO's and blocks will facilitate critical thinking, creativity and collaboration during our exploration time.
