My second-grade​ students need access to a variety of quality texts. With this magazine subscription, my students will have access to important topics and world events. They will increase their world view, vocabulary, and ability to read and understand different text types. While reading these magazines, students will learn about current events, different cultures, science topics, and more while improving their vocabulary, reading, fluency, and comprehension skills. These magazines are very engaging and tie in videos, visuals, and projects through online support and teacher resources. Students will be excited to learn about new concepts this week. A magazine offers a variety of text types and link topics. My second graders will be able to acquire important literacy skills by reading and interacting with these magazines.
