I personally believe reading is an important part of development and is one of the most thrilling escapes we, as educated human beings, can enjoy and partake in. My hope is to instill a love of books and reading in today’s youth, starting with my 7th-12th graders. They have very bright futures, and reading will only help enhance the abilities they already possess. I want to be able to make a statement in these student's lives that will stick with them forever. Personally, I am so grateful for all the teachers I had growing up who encouraged reading in their classrooms, because, if not for them, where would I be today?

About my class
