Students will benefit from flexible seating, such as the requested Wobble chairs and balance ball seats, in my classroom. They will have the responsibility of choosing where to sit and being accountable for the choice of seat with their peers when doing accountability checks. “Where are you at now and do you need help with anything at the moment?” Students will have opportunities to grow academically when choosing their seat because they will retain more information in an environment that allows them the seat of their choice than they would from being told to sit in traditional desks and chairs. I want my students to have new opportunities for growth which flexible seating will allot.
