This project means that each month my class will be excited to receive a box from Little Justice Leaders so they can learn about a new social justice issue. Learning about social justice issues is important. I plan to use these books and lessons to make sure these issues become a regular part of our day-to-day lives and conversations. The students will also have an opportunity to complete arts and crafts, projects, and other creative activities that will keep them engaged while learning about the topics. The books will be placed in my classroom library to encourage the positive, open, accepting learning environment that I strive to create. Reading and discussing these books will help students continue to explore social justice issues and encourage positive conversations.
