These books would be a very welcomed and loved addition to our text-rich classroom. We love reading in our classroom. My students are growing and fostering a love for literature. It is evident in the way they treat our classroom library books. They are gentle and truly view each book as a prized possession. Many of my students have struggled with reading and have found a comfort in books they adore. I have been watching them go from book to book, carefully selecting the perfect match. Adding more selection to our classroom will make a huge difference for them. They will have the ability to select books from a wider variety of genres. I have asked them what kind of books they like to read and I have been carefully observing the selections they have been making from our current classroom library. I know the selected books would be a new treasure for them. It will help immensely as they are continuing to find the love of independent reading time. This project would no doubt enrich their love for reading.
