I'm opening a new classroom with not many materials/books for the students. This project is to add essentials to my class to make it feel like a place where they want to learn and grow. My goal is to have all the students feel like they belong in my class and are all responsible for the community we built. The carpet will be used daily to help the class feel like a team all together. A good classroom has many books available at different levels for the students to grow as readers, becoming more fluent and accurate with each word. The book bins help the students choose what books they are excited to read that week.
