These resources for reading, STEM, and flexible seating will give each child in my classroom the ability to engage in learning that is play-based. When young children are placed in a positive learning environment, studies have shown that they tend to do well! In our environment, students will be in control of their own learning by choosing different seat options. Students will also develop a love for reading and learn how to read by listening to stories and engaging in hands-on play that involves building and writing words. With the STEM project, students will learn how to work together in groups to build social, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. My focus is on the whole child and these resources will help with my desire and willingness to teach each student name by name and heart by heart!
