The writing folders will help my students stay organized and focused on their next step in the writing process. Writing is such a daunting task because of the steps, but with these folders my students can keep each step together and ready to build upon their original ideas. It will also help me as a teacher see their writing development. These folders not only have pockets for each writing process step but also tips for good writers. I picture my students keeping their current piece in this folder and actively using each step as building blocks. I can see them using the tips in case of writers block and even to better their work during the editing and revisions! These folders will help my students stay organized and visualize the writing process as we go through each step together.
