The items I have chosen will give my students the opportunity to engage in activities that will teach them social skills as well as academic content. I like to use games and activities in my small math groups. I specifically chose dice and card games because they are conducive to a group setting. While I am working with a small group the other students will have activities that will keep their attention so I can focus on my small group. My students think they are just playing a game, when in reality they are learning content. These materials will impact all students because I can differentiate according to each level of learning.
