Help me create a responsive classroom environment for my amazing 2nd grade class! Providing students with flexible seating options encourages children to participate and attend to tasks in an environment that is comfortable and supports their needs and learning styles. In my classroom I work diligently to make sure that my 28 students feel that they have constant access to whatever they feel they may need to help them learn. Most importantly, I also teach them to advocate for those needs. Allowing for flexible seating options ensures that my learners can all do their best work. Additionally these varied options make my space more adaptable for students who have different physical needs.
