My students will tell the stories of service of US Veterans using the poster boards. Students select a Veteran of the US military (preferably family or friend as it enhances understanding of projects value) to "tell the story of." Research and presentations of projects help students understand the sacrifice and service of our Veterans and their families. They gather information (stories, pictures, letters, awards, etc.) related to the Veteran which they will display (predominantly on the poster) for visitors to view when they attend the event. Trifold poster boards make it easier to view. This experience consistently increases student appreciation of our Veterans.
