Flexible seating is an AMAZING idea and over the last few years I have incorporated more and more seating options into my Third grade classroom of 26-27 independent and passionate kiddos! The problem is my Title 1 school isn’t able to fund alternative seating options. So I have done my best; and created a warm and inviting space for ALL types of learners-but what I’ve found is the universally most loved seating choices also become the seating options that get worn out or broken the fastest. These eager and energetic learners are wearing their way through my bargain seating options at a pace my wallet can’t keep up. My students work hard and do a ton of great partner and group collaboration! But they need seating choices that are as strong as they are. Will you help us get a few flex choices that will make it through a whole school year?
