Often, I have up to 32 students in my class at one time. Many days, we access online videos or computer simulations for clarification of concepts. My English Language Learners may access resources in their native language. At any one time we may have general education students, special education students, and english language learners, along with a general education teacher (me), a special education teacher, a paraprofessional, and a ESL teacher. There is a lot going on at any one time. It can get loud. Also, often different groups of students are working on different things. The headphones will help my students to focus completely on their resources, without distracting other students who may be working on something else.
