Help Our Students Make Their Learning BIG! Our students at Wilde Lake Middle School are creative, curious, and full of ideas! They thrive when they have opportunities to see their learning come to life, work collaboratively, and create something they can be proud of. We want to give our students and staff a resource that will help turn those ideas into BIG, meaningful learning experiences. We are requesting a large-format poster printer that can be used by students and staff throughout our school. This printer will allow students to create professional-quality posters, presentations, displays, maps, charts, infographics, artwork, and other projects that showcase their learning. Imagine students researching a topic and then designing a life-sized informational poster to teach their classmates. Picture our artists displaying their work throughout the school, students creating visual representations of math and science concepts, or groups collaborating on colorful presentations that transform our hallways into engaging learning spaces. A large-format printer will make these possibilities accessible right here at school. This resource will also support our teachers by providing engaging visual materials, anchor charts, instructional displays, and project-based learning resources that can be customized to meet the needs of our students. Most importantly, this printer will give our students another way to create, communicate, collaborate, and celebrate their learning. Not every student expresses their knowledge best through a traditional paper-and-pencil assignment. Providing opportunities to design and create large-scale projects allows students with different strengths and learning styles to shine. We love that our students are willing to try new things, think creatively, support one another, and take pride in their school. With your support, we can give them a resource that helps make their ideas visible—and gives them an even bigger reason to be proud of what they can accomplish.
