My students are fascinated with exploring culture and history like an archaeologist would! They also enjoy modern technology and learning more about how it influences the world today. Technology is so important to students moving forward. I would love to share a class set of Explorer Academy - The Nebula Secret with my class to allow them to focus on the joy of history and modern technology! The kids could follow 12 year old Cruz as he explores his past to learn about the future and how he can save the world. This book series focuses on all areas of the country and how we can use clues from history to decipher puzzles to solve a mystery. There is a special focus on ancient civilizations, which is amazing due to the fact this is a 6th grade Common Core standard. Your generosity would give my class the opportunity to explore a modern day character and engage in reading at an entertaining level. Reading is so important, so my goal is to find entertaining novels which push student interest. This can be difficult for Title I students without books which spark their interests. Thank you for thinking of my kiddos!
