These hands-on activities will help me create a sense of community in my classroom. My students will be able to work collaboratively which will be beneficial to future work skills that are going to be needed to be successful in the workforce. Donating to economically challenged students will close the achievement gap and grant my students the opportunity to be efficacious adults. My students will be able to go to the storage organizer cabinet (kid friendly sized) and chose from wooden logs, Legos, Tinkertoy, Brain Flakes, geoboard shapes, and letter cubes to let their imagination go to build and create, giving my students the chance to act autonomously in the classroom and thus taking ownership of their learning. My students already possess the gift of curiosity, let's give them the chance to build upon it.
