The reading rug, bookshelf, classroom supplies and alternative seating will allow me to create a space in my classroom to inspire students to love reading and become excited about learning. The supplies I am requesting will enable my students view my room as a safe haven where they are free to express themselves and learn in a way that is meaningful to them. My students have not been dealt the best hand in life and I want our classroom to feel like theirs. I want to equip them with the space and items they each need to be successful in school and beyond.
