The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help create a warm, welcoming, safe environment in the classroom. Fluorescent lighting in the classrooms is the worst type of lighting. Significant research indicates a number of negative outcomes of spending too much time under fluorescent lights. The light covers will significantly reduce eye strain, headaches, stress and their moods. Additionally, the chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons. The lap desks will be offered to students, so they may work where they are comfortable. The classroom library will provide the students with plenty of options to read. Thank you for your time and assistance helping the children succeed!
