A classroom is where our students spend many of their waking hours. Creating a classroom environment that is inviting will promote classroom community and student engagement, both heavily influencing student growth. Providing my students with different types of work spaces will create a learning environment that lends itself to problem solving, collaboration, and meaningful peer-to-peer interactions. Having a classroom set up in this way lends itself to flexible student grouping and promotes student choice. Additionally, modifying and updating the layout of our classroom will promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment. With this project, I will be able to make a big change in my classroom for the upcoming school year. Your donation will help me continue to meet the needs of my unique students. Thank you for your support of not only my classroom, but also these students, who are our future!
