Our school is located in southeast VA and home to many military families; we have the opportunity to serve many children due to our transient community, growing population, and large class sizes. I typically serve 24 students at one time in my kindergarten class. As a kindergarten teacher, I have a wonderful opportunity to excite children as they begin their journey through school and hook them at a young age to be life long learners. I believe these STEM activities will help prepare them for life experiences in their quest to learn. Students are constantly evolving from what they were when I first started teaching. They love to stay moving, use technology, and are genuinely interested in how things work. I love how my students are inquisitive and problem solvers...learning how to deal with life situations at such a young age to help prepare them for whatever life throws at them no matter their occupation. I would love your support to help us prepare and grow our academic and life skills.
