The hallways and bulletin boards in our school are stark white and bare. There is a general consensus that our school climate lacks a positive atmosphere. With this Cricut machine, it will be available to all teachers and students in the building to help create signs, posters, and other paraphernalia to bring positive and encouraging messages to our hallways. Just the availability of such a diverse machine available to all students and staff could inspire so many other projects as well. It will help showcase creativity and incorporate a sense of pride and excitement for our students. As a teacher, I plan to use the machine to cut out letters and create a bright and colorful hallway to showcase exemplars my student's work. As Student Council adviser, I plan to share it with the student body to create projects that promote school pride. I also plan to share with the art department, FACS department, and any others to help encourage student creativity as a useful tool to create other projects.
