In every classroom, it is important to build an understanding and safe classroom community. One of the ways that I hope to do that this year is by having designated time to share how each scholar is feeling that day. This carpet will allow our class to feel close to each other as they express themselves in different ways. One of the many benefits of this carpet is that each student will have a place to sit, which allows the students to feel a sense of belonging in our classroom. They are not intruding on anyone's space, rather, this classroom was designed for them. By donating to this project, you are not only building our community, but you are also providing a space where we can focus and excel in academics as well as life skills.

About my class
