The items that I have selected will help me get my classroom up and running as students begin returning to our school building. It is my first year in a new school, and I have selected items that will help create structured spaces in which my students can engage learn. The whiteboard easel allows me to take my teaching around the room in order to work with small groups. Flexible seating will provide a space for students to meet in independent small groups to collaborate and engage with one another. The book bins will allow me to organize our classroom library by genre, providing a more accessible space in which students can more readily find books that are of interest to them.
