The manipulatives and activities being requested allow for the students in my classroom to explore and expand on their skills. Many of our students aren’t able to experience these things due to the circumstances of the area, but not only that they will be able to utilize these materials in multiple aspects of their learning. These aspects allow for our students to make real-life connections, and increase their understanding. The warm-up’s in a jar creates the classroom community that we all love to have while also offering a judgement free zone of expression. The Magna Tiles can not only be used within in math to promote shape awareness, but also in science when discussing displacement. Curiosity is constantly going to be piqued with these fun and engaging new tools to increase their learning! The flexible seating allows for students to move around and feel comfortable, and the fidget bands help the students with all needs to be able to move their feet, but in a structured manner!
