My students spend more time in school and in classrooms almost more than they spend time at home with their parents. In my 14 years of teaching, it has always been my goal to provide a nurturing environment for my students where they feel at home. This summer I have brainstormed over how to still create a nurturing environment, but also a HEALTHY one. I am requesting a plant stand to keep live plants to clean the air, essential oils to help with everything from concentration to germ prevention, and removable wall paper to give a cozy feel to an accent wall. I am so thankful to be a classroom teacher. I teach 8th grade English and that age group is SO fun! I am excited to provide them a healthy and nurturing classroom this upcoming year! Thank you in advance for considering my request! I am so excited because I know my students will be!
