Having access to an engaging high interest library opens the world of reading in a whole new way! Most students are used to the normal boring books but having books that are high interest and engaging will help the students become more engaged in reading. The students will use these books to check them out at school, so they have access to books at home to read with their families. A lot of our families at our school do not have access to high interest books, so these books will be used at our school library. The students will come to the library and check out the books, along with going to centers at the library and using the books for literacy activities.
