For my inaugural year as a teacher, I have worked hard to create centers for individual learning. These centers last all year, so supplies and materials are often rotated to reflect curriculum changes and provide additional practice and support with new concepts. An area in my rotations that needs more support is my listening center therefore I am requesting a variety of Read-Alongs. I want to provide my students with ELA stations that they can rotate through within the week. Having fun, engaging books to listen to will help students build fluency. A listening center with books on rotation will also provide variety so that students do not become bored and disengage with the activity.
