The supplies requested will be used in a special education Language Arts class for seventh and eighth graders. Having these tools available to students will allow us to incorporate interactive notebooks, as well as other projects that can showcase the creativity of the students as we explore different literature. Having access to these supplies will assist in students demonstrating what they know and are learning in multiple ways. Often there is a strong focus on worksheets and basic skills, but the supplies like the pencils sharpener, colored pencils, and composition notebooks for this projects will help students create resources that demonstrate their understanding of what we are learning, and potentially use what they learned in other realms of their lives.
