My students are individuals with different learning needs, and I like to give them flexibility during our block of instruction. I employ station activities, writing workshops, and book clubs to provide students with a versatile classroom. My classroom currently has traditional desks, a table for peer conferencing, and a stand up counter option for students to select from, but something is missing. These desks will help my students better collaborate with partners or in small groups. These desks provide flexibility for students. The wheels allow students to quickly pair together or move apart as needed. The trapezoid shape makes working in a circle with multiple students more convenient. Collaborative learning and a flexible learning environment are crucial for our 21st century learners in preparing them for college, careers, and life. And with your support, I can support their needs.
