It is my belief that students who can take what they read and craft a play/ movie/ or production in their minds are the students to read avidly. These students then go on to have an easier time decoding problems in all content areas. With these novels, it is my goal to not only teach students to comprehend what they read, but produce a story inside their minds to make a story come alive. Additionally, this study will help students develop creative writing skills such as world-building, casual dialogue, and descriptive settings to make stories of their own creating become engaging to their peers.

About my class
