The purpose of having the project funded is to increase the use of technology in the classroom. I would like for students to be able to use tablets to engage in fun, but important, standards. There are many free learning applications for Kindergarten standards. There are many engaging applications that are great for Kindergarten students! One I would like for the students to use is the Seesaw application. They can take pictures of their completed work and it will send it to my teacher account. This is a nice way to track what they are doing at centers that don’t have any papers to turn in. I would also love to use the tablets as part of my listening center. There they can scan a QR code and have a story read. After, they can respond by answering a question and recording the answer using the tablet.
