The classroom carpet is essential for the children to come sit as a group to learn new concepts. The enjoy leaving their desks to add movement into their day. The carpet will be used for morning meeting where we will review calendar, social skills, and basic math concepts. The carpet will also be used for story time and kinesthetic learning. Story time helps to facilitate the love of reading and introducing reading comprehension skills and strategies. Kinesthetic learning will help the students who have difficulty retaining concepts learned at a table. Some students need the rug to move and get their "wiggles" out. Please help my striving students receive the carpet that can positively impact their daily routines.
