I have truly enjoyed beginning my first year of teaching with the group of students that I have. Most of them want to really increase their growth in the classroom. I want to help them achieve this. To accomplish this I would love to have a set of headphones (not earbuds) held within my classroom so that students can listen to programs on their computers. Five days a week my students have access to different computers to work on a variety of programs that give them intervention tools for English Language Arts. Headphones would help them immensely. By being able to listen to a narrator read their texts to them, many of my students will be able to comprehend the material better. I hate my students losing valuable intervention time by trying to locate headphones. Most of the time they are not able to locate headphones. Please consider donating money to purchase headphones. It would be a great blessing to my classroom and students.
