The Comfy Rectangular Classroom Carpet and the Flex-Space Wobble Cushion will provide flexible seating options to complete teacher-led, group, and independent learning opportunities. My students will have opportunities to complete tasks in an area that is more comfortable and less restrictive. My students are easily distracted, and comfortable seating reduces the distractions. My students will be able to complete reading and math tasks with plenty of room to manipulate their bodies on this luxurious carpet and wobble cushion. The students will also be able to utilize hands-on math manipulatives in a larger space than individual desks can provide with added space for collaborative learning with peers. My goal is to transform the traditional learning space into an inviting and comfortable workspace to maximize each student's learning of reading and hands-on math concepts, including communication opportunities with peers. The focus will be the learning tasks and not an uncomfortable area.
