The materials will make a difference in my scholars, by teaching them how to use a sewing machine, and allowing them to become familiar and comfortable with the creativity of sewing, making garments and exhibiting their designs. The scholars of "Velt" the home of "Panther Pride" will take on a task of making choir robes for our up and coming choir, the "Voices of Velt." I am a firm believer if you keep a child engaged in an extra curricular activity, if will keep them off of the streets and focus on positive things that can help them throughout their life, even after they have graduated. They come become business owners, and help their community.

About my class
