I plan to use Chromebooks in my classroom for several reasons. First, it will enhance their educational experience in my science classroom because there are tons of online simulations that would give my students the opportunity to participate in activities that they do not have the opportunity to do hands on. Second, I would like to create a paper-free classroom. My students would complete all of their work on the Chromebooks through google classroom, and I would be able to provide immediate feedback online. Finally, these Chromebooks will also increase student engagement in the classroom. From prior experience, my students love when there is technology in the classroom. They are more focused and invested in their work when they are able to complete it online and use the internet as a resource. Also, I teach a class of English Language Learners. The internet is a great resource for these students because they re able to use google translate to communicate with myself and their peers as well as​ view translated materials online.
