The Scholastic News magazines will help me teach my 5th graders about current issues today. The books will help me build my classroom library. The books I chose include a lot of history books as well as other books for the students to read if they have completed their work. Reading is so important! I did not find a love for reading at a young age, and this has made it very difficult for me. Therefore, I really try to get my students interested in something at a young age. I do not want to see my students struggle with reading.
