As a teacher, my greatest wish is that students feel empowered to learn and find joy in it. These materials will all help create a learning environment for my students to feel like they belong and celebrate their hard work. The borders and paper will provide spaces for them to share their work and see themselves represented in their classroom. My hope is that students will also feel safer in a space with neutral and welcoming colors, rather than the white walls. Since I am a rather new teacher, my classroom doesn't have much student work in it yet. I would like to prominently display important resources and their work.
