Students in my class show a sincere interest in independent reading. This project will help enrich their experiences with the printed word. The best way to increase a beginning reader's reading ability is to read more. These books will continue to help each of my students grow stronger in reading. Every book that is placed in my class library is treated with love and care, and the students are thankful for every opportunity to read. They will choose books from a variety of selections that interest them and that will help them continue to enjoy independent and partner reading at their own grade level. The wobble stools will be extremely beneficial for some students who just need to get the "wiggles" out. They are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. My hope is that a library with broader reading choices, coupled with seating that allows for movement for those who need it, will keep students engaged and focused on their learning.
