This classroom set of ukuleles will go to giving my students a new experience in the world of music. Ukulele is a great way to play music, build hand eye coordination, and work in popular songs that connect with my students' everyday world. Many students don't like to sing, feel band isn't for them, and are discouraged about starting guitar due to cost and complexity. Ukulele is the perfect stepping stone of these students to find a way into the many amazing facets of playing music outside of being in band, choir, or a band. Music performance does not need to lead to a career and often doesn't need to leave the home. These ukuleles will teach these students a skill that they can use for the rest of their lives.
