As a middle school teacher at a Title 1 school, classroom funding is extremely limited and materials that come from myself as well as the families I serve are also scarce. The necessary supplies and resources for everyday lessons and PBL projects are always the biggest challenge for myself, and my students, to acquire due to the lack finances. Nevertheless, I do not think this should inhibit my students from receiving an engaging and quality education this academic year. These necessary classroom materials from paper to pencils, notebooks, and white board markers, will give all students an equal opportunity to learn. The resources will enhance learning and create a classroom culture based on equality, creativity, collaboration, and excitement. Myself, students, and families will not have to worry about having "enough of"; rather, start the school year prepared and ready to learn!
