Kindergarten is a very important grade, it's the beginning of learning to differentiate sounds in letters, blend letters together, read and write their first sentences. They begin learning addition and subtraction. These resources will enhance the learning that will take place in my classroom, along with essentials they will need such as crayons and paint. "Develop a passion for learning, If you do, you will never cease to grow - Anthony J D'Angelo". When my future students come into our classroom, I want them to know that our area rug is the beginning of our adventure. Our area rug will be the main event everyday because of all the experiences it will hold. We will learn safety within our class, have many read along's to funny and eye opening stories and we will share our feelings and learn to use our words kindly. Our area rug will be the place where we can all gather together every morning and afternoon before dismissal to talk about our day, essentially it will be a safe place. The resources in my project will provide students with a fun way to learn and encourage creative thinking. The most important thing to me is that my students have fun while learning and building relationships with their peers when they work together. While I know that no journey comes easy, I'm willing to do everything humanly possible to create a safe, fun, and loving space for my students where they may let their creativity soar to incredible limits.
