An iPad would help my students engage in technology in the therapy setting and enhance their learning experience through the use of interactive language and articulation apps. This in turn will help them absorb and retain more information and can be used as a tool to help monitor their progress in therapy. Many of my students have a constant need for movement and some exhibit decreased muscle tone. As a result, they are constantly fidgeting or slouching and have difficulty engaging in learning. Wobble cushions improve posture and muscle tone and encourage active sitting. As a result my students can incorporate movement in their therapy and engage in more focused learning.
