This Virtual Reality Headset and Bluetooth speaker will allow my students to fully access the physical education curriculum to the best of their ability. It will help ignite their interest in physical activity beyond what they may think is possible because of the boundaries of their physical limitations. This technology will also promote movement to increased their fitness levels. This will cover Nevada Academic Content Standards for Physical Education 1.5.2, 1.5.3, 1.5.4, 3.5.2, 3.5.3, and 4.5.1. This technology will give my students the opportunity to participate in the same activities as their peers, but in a safe, successful, engaging virtual world. This equipment will increase their interest in physical education and moving their bodies in ways they have never imagined. It will help positively with the social emotional health that has been effected because of COVID-19 and having participated in distance learning over the 2020-2021 school year.
