In addition to providing my classroom with much-needed starting supplies like paper, pencils, pens, and markers, I would also love to provide my students with some historical books in my classroom during reading time and in the classroom. I would love to provide my students with books they can see themselves in. I have specifically picked American history books that represent people of color and their achievements in American history. I am intending on building an even bigger library in my classroom, so his is just the first step in building a representative history curriculum in my classroom! I am so appreciative of anything you can give to my budding classroom!
