As a first year teacher, I do not have many books in Spanish for my students to read that are at their level. Research shows that the best way to learn vocabulary is through reading and my intention is to build a classroom library that gives my students the opportunity to explore text in Spanish so they can expand their Spanish vocabulary. With these books my students will have the opportunity to enhance their language acquisition and literacy levels while having diverse options to choose from. My goal is to have a library with authentic content that students love to read.
