Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choice of a space that works best for them in the classroom. My co-teacher and I want to turn our classroom into a full flexible seating space. We currently have a standing table, a rocking chair, yoga balls,​ and floor cushions. Students can use these items during independent work time. We still have students sitting in regular chairs. I have noticed amazing differences in students learning when they are given the choice of where they sit. We want to provide all our students the opportunity to learn in a way that works best for them!
